The photo shows the basalt blocks protruding from the sand, which are largely hidden at higher water. So be careful when you surf near these breakwaters that you carefully step off your surfboard and preferably avoid these places.

The breakwaters towards beach bar De Stern are completely covered with the sprayed sand. This means that as surfers you will not be inconvenienced by this.
